... fließt der Große Aletschgletscher. Die typischen Mittelmoränen bilden sich durch die Vereinigung von Seitenmoränen mehrerer Gletscher am oberhalb gelegenen Konkordiaplatz. Leider sieht es auch hier noch nicht nach einer Ski- sondern eher nach einer sommerlichen Bergtour aus, weshalb weiterhin Skitragen angesagt ist. In der Bildmitte im Hintergrund das Große Wannenhorn, von dem vor zwei Jahren dieses Gegenbild entstanden ist.

... there flows the big Aletsch glacier. The typical middle moraines are built through the uniting of side moraines of several glaciers at the Konkordia place some kilometers above. Unfortunately here it looks less like a ski tour but more like a hiking trip in summer. Therefore we have to carry our skis further on. In the middle of the background there is the Grosse Wannenhorn. Two years ago I took this picture there.
